This book is about unicorn folklore and mythology in different cultures and religions as well as in literature, art and documented sighting reports. This book references decorative elements of the medieval era, when the legend of the unicorn was at peak.

The hardcover book has its title gold foil stamped on the cover and uses decorative Japanese end-papers. Design elements ornate drop caps, rich colour palette referenced from images of the book and full bleed images and tailpieces to indicate a chapter end. The left column of each page is dedicated to a gloss to provide supplementary information and images to the main content.

The book features a range of content forms such as text, poetry, photographs, illustrations, maps and documentation of related fine art. This offered a challenge to work with from an aesthetic and information architectural perspective.
